This past weekend, it started snowing on Friday around noon, and didn't stop until late Saturday night. We ended up with about 2 feet of accumulated snow, and no way to get out of our driveway all day Saturday. So I stayed in my pajamas almost all day, read a book, did a crossword puzzle, and made this purse out of an old golf sweater of John's.
I LOVE it, Pam! You are so creative! I was just looking at an ad for a fundraiser here that is a fashion show and auction, of clothes that designers have made out of old clothes that were donated to St. Vincent de Paul. I want to go just to see what is there. There's a whole fashion movement around here of recycling clothes. Some other designer has done the same thing with clothes from Goodwill, and has opened a shop full of them! I think you should start a line of purses and scarves and market them to him.
ReplyDeleteVery nice. I love how preppy it is. Ever since I moved to the South, I love preppy things.
ReplyDeleteI was folding a beloved wool sweater this weekend and saw a hole in it. I think it's time to turn it into a project.
