Beaded Ornaments

Lauren and I, along with Sara Markt, made these cute beaded ornaments from the latest Martha Stewart Living magazine. They were very easy, and they're even prettier than they look in the pictures!

  1. Cute ornaments. And what a fun thing to do on Thanksgiving weekend! Did the project involve a trip to a bead store?
It's especially impressive that Pam completed a craft project after hosting a better-than-ever
Thanksgiving dinner. She and John and Lauren and Robbie made two turkeys (roasted and deep fried), three different kinds of stuffing (regular, oyster, and vegetarian), and side dishes which we agreed on the way home were the best we'd ever had.

  2. We found everything we needed at Michael's craft store. They had little kits with the snowflake shaped wire and lots of beads. Then, of course, we purchased additional beads. (The kits came with plastic beads and we bought some very pretty glass beads.) Afterwards I found the snowflake shaped wire online at auntiesbeads.com and ordered them, so I can make additional ornaments.
