I'm back from Italy and thought you guys would appreciate this relief from the cathedral in Florence. There was a series of panels describing technologies important in the Renaissance and one of them was textile arts.Zac's pictures are here, mine are divided into pictures from Sorrento, Florence, Cinque Terra, and Rome.
Emily - I almost feel bad putting my post up, since I think your picture of the relief from Italy makes a wonderful header for the blog. I actually created a header for my "craft club" blog by cutting and pasting some pictures into a Word document and then pasting it in the header.
