more baby quilts
My love affair with 3 inch squares is apparently not over yet. I started another patchwork quilt (2 actually) but on a smaller scale for some baby quilts. Brian's cousin is pregnant with twin boys, so we figured a couple of similar-but-not-identical quilts would be helpful. Here's a picture of early planning steps on my project board:

ReplyDeleteDid your mom tell you we got out the quilt you made for Cary when she was born? You were barely a teenager when you made it. I cannot believe it. It's still just as beautiful as ever.
I think I was 14 or 15 when we made that. How sweet that you still have it!

That was fun looking at that baby quilt at Diane's. Emily, I remember you saying "Let's make a baby quilt for Diane's baby" and just diving into my fabrics and sewing! Once we got it out at Diane's house, we all started grabbing it to use on the sofas while we were watching TV.
