Here's my latest craft. I saw something similar (but not as nice) in Anthropologie. They were $12.00 for a card of four. I made them from my quilting scraps. I made about 30 just last night while watching the Republican convention. I was a bit agitated. Aren't they cute? I need to find a place to sell them now, because I have a lot.
I'm impressed, Kathy! First, that you were watching the Republican convention - I can't stand to even watch! And your craft is cute, too. I think it's hilarious how you and Emily both troll Anthropologie for craft ideas! I'll have to look closer next time I'm in there.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE the bobby pins. They remind me of hair clips I made for a tropical theme party. I took fake orchids and sewed them to barrettes. It was very Billy Holiday. I came upon them when I moved and decided to throw them away :(
I watched Palin and McCain and probably should have had a craft to keep me occupied during both. Instead, I just talked to the TV in my very-irritated voice.
This is one of the best TV crafts I've ever done. I've made them while oohing and aahing at the divers and gymnasts in the Olympics, yelling at the Republicans, cheering for the Democrats and crying at Lifetime movies.
